Dr. Sam (Saverio) Pirozzi is a New Jersey licensed professional counselor, marriage & family therapist and licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor with over 30 years of experience. He has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health and chemical dependency treatment, inpatient treatment centers, hospitals, universities and in private practice. Over the years he has gained experience in almost all behavioral health concerns. 

Dr. Pirozzi provides counseling interventions for a variety of life issues. His brief therapy approach emphasizes a focus on a specific problem and direct intervention. Dr. Pirozzi is solution-based rather than problem-oriented. He is less concerned with how a problem arose than with the current factors sustaining it and preventing change.
